The 8+ year old computer lives again and I have to admit I haven't done much sewing other than the start of the cute snowman mug rug I started and have yet to finish. I really dislike posting from my phone, but I know I can do it if need be, like when the hubby are on vacation and I get inspired. I was motivated by Heidi over at
Boys, Buttons, and Butterflies and her recent trip to Hawaii, she visited a quilt shop or two while on the islands. I told my hubby that I wanted to go to some quilt shops in Las Vegas when we take our vacation in October, and he got quite irritated with me. Why I don't know, but I plan on laying down the law and telling him that I am going whether he wants to join me or not. He always seems to complain that I never want to do anything but when I say something I want to do he rolls his eyes and asks if I'm kidding.
I have done some searching of the quilt shops in Vegas and found that they have a
quilt shop hop, how fun would that be to do? Really something for ME! He has been to Vegas before and wants to
drag show me all of the cool stuff out there, Hoover dam, the Grand Canyon really I could care less. We are going to be there for 7 days, I'm sure I could find a few hours in there on one day to do it.
